An ATM-only kiosk on Collier Avenue in Lake Elsinore, Navy Federal Credit Union serves active-duty and retired military members, veterans, and their families who already hold accounts elsewhere and need 24-hour cash access on the east side of town. This is not a full branch with tellers or loan officers — it's a standalone machine for account holders making withdrawals or deposits during off-hours or between errands on Collier. The format fits military-connected residents living or working near Collier Avenue who value the convenience of a dedicated ATM without the drive to a full Navy Federal branch or waiting for business hours. For non-members, or for anyone needing to open an account, deposit a check, or speak with a loan officer, this location doesn't serve that role. For a cardholder grabbing cash late at night or on a weekend when other options are closed, the 24-hour availability fills that practical slot on the Lake Elsinore side of the valley.
An ATM kiosk operated by Navy Federal Credit Union on Central Avenue in Lake Elsinore serves account holders who need cash access outside standard branch hours. Navy Federal is a members-only institution—open to military, veterans, and their families—so this machine primarily functions as a convenience stop for existing members rather than a general-population banking option. Central Avenue is the main commercial corridor through Lake Elsinore, making the location useful for members already running errands in that area. The format suits Navy Federal members who live or work on the east side of Lake Elsinore and need routine ATM access without a branch visit. For non-members looking to open an account or conduct teller transactions, this kiosk won't help; the nearest Navy Federal branch location would require travel out of Lake Elsinore. For account holders making a quick withdrawal between shopping or appointments, the Central Avenue placement fills that practical gap. Anyone banking with a national chain or a local credit union open to the general public would turn to their own institution's ATM network instead.

Navy Federal Credit Union operates as a members-only institution on Central Avenue in Lake Elsinore, open to military service members, veterans, and eligible family households. The Central Avenue branch functions as a retail location with teller windows and loan services, making it more than an ATM kiosk — members can handle deposits, withdrawals, account questions, and lending conversations in person rather than by phone or app alone. The membership requirement shapes who walks in. Residents with military affiliation already know Navy Federal's reputation for competitive rates and veteran-friendly loan terms; those without military ties need eligibility through a sponsor or family connection. For Lake Elsinore's significant military-connected population — proximity to Camp Pendleton drives veteran density — this is the in-town option that understands service-member financial patterns. Non-members seeking banking on Central Avenue would turn to the national chains with open-enrollment branches; Navy Federal's value proposition runs deeper for those who qualify, making the membership wall a feature rather than a barrier for its core constituency.
What bank does not have a coin counter. Took my son and his change in to deposit into his account. He did not have that much they told him to roll it. So we went into the car he rolled what he could but still have change that added up to another 10$ in different coins they wouldn't take it. I think ...
Horrible customer service. The wait is always at least an hour and there are people just standing around. They don’t let you know how many people are in front of you if you need to see a banker just stand over there and someone will come get you. Tellers taking lunch during the lunch rush! Seriously...
The ATM is real low. It's accommodating for people in wheel chairs which is all good. But I'm 6'3. Bending over for a lengthy transaction is not cool. If they can get a second ATM, at normal height, that would be nice. One last thing, a transaction at the ATM shouldn't take long.
What Locals Know
Lake Elsinore lacks the dense branch infrastructure of Temecula's larger banking corridor — credit union members here often rely on shared branching and ATM networks to access services outside their primary branch, making membership eligibility and network access critical questions.
