Dr. Rolf R. Drinhaus operates a medical practice on Hancock Avenue in Murrieta, serving the broader Temecula Valley and surrounding communities. The practice handles general internal medicine and primary care — the kind of appointment-based office where established patients manage chronic conditions, receive preventive screenings, and get referrals to specialists when needed. This is not an urgent-care walk-in; it's a traditional primary-care model built around continuity with a single provider. The patient base skews toward adults managing ongoing health needs rather than acute episodic care, and toward those with insurance coverage and established provider relationships. For residents new to the area or changing providers, Drinhaus takes new patients through standard medical-office channels — insurance verification, chart transfer, first-appointment paperwork. For anyone in the valley without a primary-care anchor or needing a doctor who knows their history and medication list, an established internal-medicine practice like this fills that role more efficiently than urgent care or emergency department visits would.
Livingwater's Medical Clinic operates as a primary care practice in Murrieta, serving the general medical needs of adult and family patients across the city and surrounding valley communities. As an independent clinic rather than part of a larger hospital system or regional network, the practice handles routine checkups, acute care visits, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine in a smaller-group setting where continuity with the same provider is the operational model rather than the exception. The practice suits residents who prefer a stable doctor-patient relationship over the rotation common at larger urgent-care chains or hospital-affiliated clinics. Insurance acceptance varies by plan; calling ahead to confirm coverage before the first visit is standard practice with independent medical offices. For specialists (cardiology, orthopedics, dermatology) or hospital-level care, patients would be referred out; Livingwater's sits in the first-contact lane for the everyday medical questions and preventive care that keep most people out of the ER.

Dr. Laura A. Williams operates a medical practice on Hancock Avenue in central Murrieta, serving patients in family medicine and internal medicine — the kind of primary-care office that handles routine exams, chronic disease management, preventive care, and referral coordination rather than specialist procedures. The practice sits in the Hancock Avenue commercial corridor where many residents already manage errands and appointments. Patients establishing care with a primary physician, families looking for continuity in medical decisions, and insured adults managing ongoing conditions form the core patient base. For urgent same-day issues that can't wait for a scheduled appointment, standalone urgent-care clinics elsewhere in Murrieta offer faster access; for specialist referrals or complex hospital-based care, Dr. Williams provides the coordinating function that routes patients to appropriate secondary providers. The practice suits residents seeking a stable primary-care relationship in their own city rather than a referral chain that starts with a large regional system.
Unfortunately the office doesn't even answer their phone during business hours. I've called from 8am- 9:30 am on a weekday. It's just a "mailbox is full" recording. This isn't the kind of care I want or need, when needing an appointment. I'm having my primary changed.
It may take a while to get going when your new but if you get the chance to see Dr. Williams she is very smart and giving , she has found all the important things others have missed. I've had no trouble getting referrals.
The front office service is terrible. Whenever you call the office you are put to hold for a long time. And when they do answer they end up telling me that they're busy and they will call me back which they never do. Just to get a referral for a specialist takes also a long time. Avoid the frustrat...
What Locals Know
Murrieta's Hancock Avenue medical corridor serves both established residents and newer subdivisions in the southwest valley. Solo practitioners here typically maintain smaller patient panels than larger group practices, which affects scheduling flexibility and continuity but also appointment availability.
