Eye Eco operates on County Center Drive in Temecula, handling the range of routine eye care that most residents cycle through — annual exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye management, pediatric vision screening, and referrals for surgical cases like cataracts or LASIK. The practice carries eyewear frames in-house and maintains an on-site lab for glasses, compressing the typical wait-and-order timeline into same-visit pickup when timing allows. For established patients with straightforward prescriptions and frame needs, the local-practice setup works better than a chain optical counter where an exam happens in one department and frames are ordered through another. Insurance plans like VSP and EyeMed are standard accommodations here. Parents managing a child's first pair of glasses, contacts wearers needing a fitting checkup, and drivers with chronic dry eye who benefit from consistent provider continuity find this model more practical than the big-box alternative. For complex surgical candidates or low-vision rehabilitation requiring specialist referral, the practice positions itself as the clinical entry point rather than the final destination.

Eye Appeal Optometry operates a full-scope practice on Rancho California Road in Margarita Village, handling routine comprehensive exams, contact lens fitting, and treatment for conditions like dry eye — the standard diagnostic work plus the in-house eyewear component that keeps a patient from walking out without glasses or contacts the same day. Most major vision plans are accepted, removing the insurance friction that can make a visit feel like a coordination hassle. Residents choosing Eye Appeal over chain retailers typically value a dedicated optometrist who spends exam time on their specific vision concerns rather than a high-volume throughput model. The practice suits anyone needing a contact lens fitting that requires multiple adjustments, patients managing dry eye or other ongoing eye health issues, and families with pediatric vision needs. For complex cases requiring surgical evaluation — cataracts, LASIK candidacy — the optometrist can navigate referral pathways to specialists. Walk-in traffic and scheduled appointments both fit the workload; most residents in the Margarita Village corridor already pass the location on routine errands.

Temecula Family Optometry operates inside the Macy's at Winchester Road in the Temecula Regional Center, positioning itself as an in-mall eye care stop where routine exams and eyewear selection happen under one roof. The practice handles standard optometry — annual exams, contact lens fitting, dry eye evaluation — and accepts most major vision plans including VSP and EyeMed, which simplifies the insurance side for families juggling multiple coverage types. Frame selection is in-house, and the location's retail setting means glasses can be ordered and adjusted without a separate trip across town. Families with school-age children, working adults fitting eye care into a shopping visit, and existing patients needing a routine checkup form the core clientele. For comprehensive dry eye treatment, pediatric specialists, or complex surgical referrals (cataract, LASIK evaluation), larger independent practices with dedicated clinical space may offer more depth. For the parent who needs their kid's first glasses fitted while already at the mall, or the busy professional grabbing an exam between Macy's and Target, the convenience of mall-based optometry handles that practical fit directly.
The atmosphere was too noisy and distracting also perfume scents were upsetting. I don’t think I would return to this location.
I have always had a great experience at this Macy’s optometry office. Doctor Kho is excellent and very personable. The assistants and other help have also been very helpful!
Went into Lens crafters inside Macy's so i can get glasses. My first time getting glasses because i am having trouble seeing from far away. Man my first time in i got to say was a great experience thanks to my sales rep Marvin and optomistrist Dr. Linda Kho. Sadly i didn't get the names of the other...
What Locals Know
Temecula Regional Center sits in the newer commercial corridor where mall-anchored optometry draws foot traffic from surrounding retail. In-mall locations pull walk-in volume and attract patients already shopping nearby — expect a busier environment than a standalone office, especially weekends.
