Numberz Boxing operates as a boxing-focused gym on Madison Avenue in Murrieta — a specialized floor rather than a general weight-and-cardio facility. The space centers on heavy bags, speed bags, mitts, and ring work instead of rows of machines and dumbbells; the format suits boxers training for competition, fitness-focused hitters looking for a high-intensity workout, and anyone drawn to the structured intensity of boxing drills over the open-floor independence of a traditional gym. Members show up on their own schedule to hit bags, work combinations, or spar under coach supervision rather than sign up for class time slots — the rhythm is self-directed within a boxing-specific environment. Personal training and pad work with coaches are part of the offering. For someone seeking the "show up, do your workout, leave" flexibility with full-rack dumbbells and cable stations, a larger multipurpose gym is the better fit. For a boxer or boxing-curious member who wants dedicated equipment and coaching access, Numberz fills that specialized niche.

Carlson Gracie Old Town is a martial-arts-focused gym on Reagan Way in Murrieta, built around Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training rather than the open-floor weight-machine layout of standard commercial gyms. The space centers on mat work, grappling instruction, and technique-based classes — members train in scheduled BJJ sessions and open rolling time rather than arriving for independent barbell work on their own timeline. The format suits people committed to a specific martial art over casual fitness, grapplers training toward competition or belt progression, and newcomers learning fundamentals in a structured environment. For someone wanting to show up at 11 p.m. to lift weights unsupervised or follow a personalized strength program on the floor, a traditional open-gym membership elsewhere is the fit. For BJJ students needing regular access to instruction, rolling partners, and mat space, Carlson Gracie operates on a different model entirely — membership builds around class schedules and skill development rather than equipment availability.

VITAL Climbing Gym in Murrieta operates as a specialized climbing facility rather than a traditional open-floor weight gym — the space is anchored by climbing walls of varying difficulty, rope setups, and bouldering terrain instead of cardio rows and free-weight racks. Members arrive, work through routes at their own pace, and leave; some train with staff on technique, others climb independently. The Technology Drive location in the Winchester Properties/Silverhawk corridor keeps it accessible to the north-Murrieta commercial strip without the foot traffic of a downtown storefront. Climbers of all levels — beginners testing the sport, regular members chasing harder sends, families with kids wanting weekend activity — fit the membership model; it suits people drawn to a specific discipline rather than general fitness. Solo climbers working through problems at their own intensity find this format more natural than a class-schedule gym; groups and couples climbing together also find the open-floor, self-directed pace works well. Unlike a CrossFit box with fixed class times or a national chain with cardio-heavy generic appeal, VITAL caters to a narrower, committed climbing community.
Not bad for a rock climbing gym needs to be bigger not enough space

Relaxed atmosphere with very kind staff that was very helpful. Only offers bouldering but they have plenty of options with it. Recommended and will be returning 👍
