Kinetic Air Inc operates out of Ynez Road in Temecula as an HVAC-focused service contractor handling residential heating, cooling, and indoor air quality work across the valley. The scope runs from routine maintenance (filter changes, seasonal tune-ups, duct cleaning) through equipment replacement and new-system installation on single-family and multi-unit properties. This is a licensed mechanical trade rather than general handyman work, so the company sticks to its core expertise rather than taking on electrical or plumbing side projects. Most calls are either preventive maintenance or urgent repairs — a system that won't start before summer heat hits, a unit running inefficiently after years without service, or a homeowner upgrading to a more efficient model. For residents who'd pair HVAC work with a larger remodel (new ducting, whole-house humidity control, smart thermostat integration into a broader energy retrofit), Kinetic handles that scope. For the single punch-list job — a fan install, a ductwork patch — they fit that slot too. Seasonal demand is sharp: spring and early summer see the longest wait, when every system that's been idle all winter suddenly comes online.

California Home Center operates on Winchester Road in Uptown Temecula, handling residential roofing work across the valley's mix of material types — the local stock includes plenty of concrete tile from the 1990s and 2000s building boom, asphalt shingles, and some flat/TPO systems on commercial additions. The shop does both repair work (cracked tiles, flashing leaks, storm damage) and full replacements, with experience navigating insurance claims for storm and fire damage. Homeowners in tile-roof neighborhoods often call for spot repair rather than full tearoff, which keeps costs down and preserves the original material; residents in wildfire-zone communities (De Luz, Fallbrook, the Vail Lake area) who need fire-resistant upgrades have specific class-A material constraints to work within. For a free estimate on anything from a single cracked tile to a full roof replacement, California Home Center handles the walk-through and scope — useful information before deciding whether a repair holds or a new roof makes sense long-term.

Glen Oaks Road sits deep in Temecula Wine Country, where DICE Growers operates as a general handyman service covering the small jobs that fall between specialty contractors and DIY — fixture installs, light repairs, painting touch-ups, fence work, door rehang, and the standard punch-list tasks homeowners accumulate. The business handles residential work across Temecula rather than specializing in one trade, which positions it for the quick calls that licensed electricians or plumbers often decline because the job is too small or too simple to warrant a service visit. Wine Country properties and the newer south-Temecula neighborhoods generate steady demand for this type of service: a loose deck board, a ceiling fan that needs hanging, drywall patching before a repaint, gutter repair. For major remodels or permitted structural work, specialized licensed contractors are the right call. For the homeowner managing a growing list of small maintenance items and needing someone to knock them out in one visit rather than schedule five separate appointments, this is where the work lands.
Went here recently to purchase plants for a backyard renovation. Great selection, even better prices! About a third of the price of Home Depot or Lowes.
Very knowledgeable staff, sometimes it’s hard to get a hold of them due to aiding other customers. Recommend bringing a large vehicle that you don’t mind getting dirty. Amazing prices and selections, prices are well over 50% off compared to major retailers.
This business is under new management. Jaime does not work here anymore. I have bought over hundred plants for my orchard from them and they always gave a competitive price. It now appears that nurseries in Fallbrook have better prices than here. Best to call for prices before going to them.
What Locals Know
Temecula Wine Country properties often blend vineyard blocks with residential grounds — many owners need someone who understands both wine-grape viticulture schedules and ornamental landscape timing. Standard residential landscapers may lack vineyard experience; vineyard specialists may not handle home garden work.
