Skin and Cancer Institute's Murrieta location operates at the intersection of dermatological medicine and cosmetic treatment — physician-led rather than esthetician-only, which means medical-grade procedures sit alongside skin cancer screening and medical dermatology in the same practice. The treatment menu spans injectables, laser work, and body-focused procedures, but the backdrop is clinical oversight rather than pure aesthetic retail. The client mix includes longtime dermatology patients adding cosmetic work to their routine care, first-time injectable seekers who value a medical setting and doctor consultation, and residents managing sun damage or pursuing skin rejuvenation in a practice that also handles the medical side. For someone wanting injectable consultation without the plastic surgery office formality, or for patients already seeing a dermatologist for skin conditions and wanting to address aging in the same visit, this format eliminates the back-and-forth between two separate providers. Event prep and maintenance routines both fit the model, though the medical emphasis means treatments sit within a health-focused frame rather than pure cosmetic convenience.

Shape It Up Contouring operates on Adams Avenue in Murrieta as a medical spa focused on body contouring and injectables rather than skincare-primary treatments. The practice sits between a traditional day spa and a surgical center — offering injectable options, laser-based body treatments, and non-invasive contouring procedures under physician oversight. The consultation flow emphasizes treatment planning for specific aesthetic goals rather than relaxation or pampering. The clientele ranges from first-time injectable clients exploring preventive options to established regulars maintaining results, alongside residents preparing for events or life transitions. Those seeking aggressive surgical outcomes or complex reconstructive work lean toward plastic surgery centers; those wanting a single facial or massage lean toward esthetician-led day spas. Shape It Up fills the middle ground for Murrieta residents who want medical-grade body and injectables work with a streamlined appointment process and a focused treatment menu rather than an expansive spa menu.

Murrieta Day Spa sits on Ivy Street in Historic Murrieta, positioned between a traditional spa and a clinical medical aesthetic practice — offering injectables and laser treatments under physician oversight rather than operating as a full surgical facility. The menu spans the mid-range cosmetic work: Botox, dermal fillers, laser hair removal, chemical peels, and skin-resurfacing treatments that don't require an operating room. Consultations tend toward the conversational rather than the sterile, with staff explaining what each treatment addresses and how results unfold over weeks or months. The clientele runs from first-time injectables seekers wanting a lower-pressure introduction to cosmetic work, to established regulars maintaining results on a quarterly refresh schedule, to people prepping skin for an event. Those needing surgical intervention or extensive body contouring work elsewhere; those wanting a 60-minute facial without needles find traditional spas a better fit. For the middle ground — someone considering their first filler or exploring whether Botox suits them — the med spa format allows a consultation and first treatment in the same visit, with physician backing but without the overhead of a surgical practice.
Amazing service and super friendly staff!! We got the Vitamin C facials and it left our skin hydrated and perfectly glowy for our big night out celebrating! They'll even greet you with champagne on arrival for special requests:) We’ll definitely be coming back!
I came here on a Tuesday and it was not crowded at all. The place is small so it probably gets crowded on weekends. I love that they had cups of cold water at the bar. The mineral pool is warm but small. The lounge areas are nice and quiet. If you brought a swimsuit, they have plastic bags to put ...
Such a great day spa. Very clean. Happy staff. Wonderful ambiance. Massages, relax by the pool and a nice lunch with champagne. Go to celebrate something or just cuz it feels good.
