5 mile Loop. Parking at Vernal Pool > Hiked Los Santos trail to Adobes > Trans Preserve trail. Starting about 20min into my hike I came across rock walls that may have been used by early settlers to possibly herd cattle?

This was a wonderful hike with beautiful hilly grass plains and wonderful views. One of the best hikes I’ve been on for a while!!!

Nice place to take a hike and enjoy the quiet of nature. Limited areas open right now, check their website. Please stay on the trails to keep the area unspoiled (which is a requirement by the forest service) and respectful to the area.
