Beans Hiking Trail sits at the eastern edge of Lake Elsinore, offering foot access into the foothills above the valley floor. The trail draws a mix of local weekenders, families with school-age kids, and hikers working through the regional network — not a technical scramble, but a real elevation gain hike that suits anyone comfortable with sustained walking rather than a casual neighborhood stroll. The Vista Way trailhead is the standard entry point for most visitors. Seasonality matters here: spring and fall are peak seasons when temperatures stay reasonable and the chaparral isn't actively scorching; summer heat can be punishing, and winter rains can wash out sections. Most hikers come equipped with basic gear — water, sun protection, sturdy shoes — rather than specialized climbing or mountaineering equipment. For day-trippers from central Temecula or Murrieta looking for something closer than Cleveland National Forest or the Santa Rosa Plateau, this fills that accessible half-day option. The hike is straightforward enough that beginners can manage it, but challenging enough that regulars don't grow bored on repeat visits.

Elsinore Peak Trailhead sits on Main Divide in Lake Elsinore, offering direct access to one of the region's most-walked day-hike destinations — a moderate climb that draws a steady weekend crowd of locals, families with school-age kids, and fitness-focused hikers looking for elevation gain without a full-day commitment. The trail suits a range of skill levels, from beginners testing their endurance to experienced hikers using it as a conditioning loop on the way to longer Santa Rosa Plateau explorations. Spring through early summer sees the heaviest traffic, when temperatures stay manageable and wildflower displays pull additional weekend visitors. Fall brings another wave of hikers avoiding summer heat. Standard hiking footwear handles the terrain; no special gear or technical skills are required, though summer heat and exposed stretches mean water and sun protection are practical necessities. For visitors new to the Lake Elsinore area or living nearby looking for a reliable weekend morning outing, the trailhead offers straightforward access without the drive time or crowd intensity of the major Santa Rosa Plateau entry points.

Summerly Skate Park on Malaga Road in Lake Elsinore pairs bowling lanes with arcade games and a food counter, operating as a casual family entertainment venue rather than a dedicated bowling center or bar-centric nightspot. The format supports both drop-in play and structured league nights, with cosmic bowling on weekend evenings bringing a different energy than daytime family sessions. The space draws families with elementary and middle-school kids, groups booking birthday parties, league bowlers on their regular nights, and older teens on weekend evenings when the glow format kicks in. For a quick recreational outing between dinner and homework, or a supervised birthday gathering without a separate venue rental, Summerly fits that local-entertainment role — casual enough that nobody's worried about form or etiquette, structured enough to hold a group for two to three hours. Corporate events and adult-league tournaments look elsewhere; this is the neighborhood spot for families and kids' social occasions.
The bowl has endless lines. It is very worth the drive from the coast. It has 2 bowls that are linked, forming a type of snake run. Really nice people there when I was there at 8 am.
Really nice concrete park in a sports park tucked away behind storm stadium, big playground for the little ones as well. Only reason for 4 stars is no lights for night sessions.
The bowl is large.enough to keep a really good constant speed and do tricks. Transition Re also smooth. Rails are a good size and clean. There rest area is also nice and has plenty of shade. May you enjoy it as much as we did
