The Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center on Murrieta Hot Springs Road serves the central and east side of Murrieta—a location that catches shoppers already moving through that retail corridor rather than requiring a special trip across town. This is the nearest Goodwill option for residents of Meritage, Summergrove, and the neighborhoods clustered around the Hot Springs Road commercial strip, where it anchors alongside grocery, pharmacy, and casual dining rather than sitting in a standalone thrift pocket. Residents living on Murrieta's west side or closer to the I-15 would more naturally swing by the Goodwill closer to that corridor instead; geography tips the choice. For anyone on the east or central stretch already running weekday shopping, this location offers the standard Goodwill model—rotating inventory, donation drop-off, pricing that shifts with item age and condition—without a drive across town. The Hot Springs Road placement matters more than the specific store itself; proximity determines which Goodwill a Murrieta household uses.

St Martha's Second Hand Treasure anchors the retail strip on Avenida Acacias in central Murrieta, placing it on the main commercial corridor where most residents already handle their routine shopping stops. For anyone living in or passing through central Murrieta, this location cuts out a drive to the outlying big-box clusters along the I-15 corridor or further south; it sits in-route for the typical weekday errand pattern. Residents picking this location over similar thrift banners elsewhere in town are usually trading selection for convenience — the Avenida Acacias corridor is walkable from nearby neighborhoods and sits between grocery and service businesses, making it a natural addition to an existing shopping loop rather than a destination drive. For shoppers in south or east Murrieta willing to drive to larger format locations with deeper inventory, the I-15 shopping centers may be the trade-off. For central-Murrieta residents prioritizing location and quick in-and-out, this is the practical choice on an existing route.

Savers on Madison Avenue in Murrieta operates as a consignment and secondhand clothing store rather than a new-merchandise boutique—a browse-yourself format where inventory rotates constantly and price tier sits well below retail. The merchandise mix spans women's, men's, and kids' clothing alongside shoes and accessories, sourced from donations and consignments rather than wholesale buying. What any given shopper finds on a Tuesday differs from what's there on Friday. This appeals to budget-conscious residents shopping for everyday wear, parents dressing growing kids without committing to full retail, and bargain hunters willing to hunt for specific pieces or brands. The experience suits those who enjoy the thrift-store discovery element—sifting through racks for a find—rather than walking in knowing exactly what they want and finding it in their size. For coordinated seasonal collections, consistent inventory, or styling help, the new-merchandise boutiques and department stores elsewhere in Murrieta are the alternative. For rotation and value, Savers fills the practical second-closet role.
Overpriced! I found a great thrift store in Lake Elsinore that I will be donating my items too and thrifting from INSTEAD of this place! Lots of 21 year olds employeed here gossiping and flirting. They give coupon for next purchase. Some unique finds. Not organized, sorted by theme, but items are ju...
Lived in Murrieta over a decade now and always found this store to feel like it was ment for the community it was supported by. But ever since it became more popular the prices have tripled. Its now just a spot to find one or two decent deals on used kitchen items not like it was before when you lef...
This Savers location is an excellent thrift store. It’s a very large store with a great selection of a variety of items to choose from. My kids are really into restoration of retro computers. This location has been our go-to location for their hobby. 😊. Give them a try 👍🏼
